Ok so the big day is nearly here. Prom is such a big day for your son or daughter.
Obviously like most occasions it’s more effort for the girls.
Hair, make up, dress, shoes, nails and the rest.!
MORE TOP STORIES:
Try to be prepared for this. Make sure all appointments are smart.
You don’t want to be cramming all their appointments in one day.
Tan - I would always suggest going for a tan (if needed). Going three days before. Most tans take a day to develop.
So you’re talking one day just for that.
Then it’s the smell! Sometimes they can smell, so it needs a couple of showers to get rid of it and I always think that a tan looks better when it’s settled.
Nails - I would say two days before. They are not going to fall off if they have them done a week before either, but two days before, gets them all excited for the day and they’re not rushing around.
Hair and makeup - It’s all on the day.
Try to book the makeup before the hair. Sometimes the hair can get in the way of the makeup and sometimes has to be clipped back, which can mess up fringes or part of the style. So it’s wise to book makeup then hair.
You can always go for trail before the day too.
Just so you know what can be achieved . You may need to buy accessories for the hair or lashes for the makeup.
Gents cut - For the young gents I would say go for the hair cut a day before.
This can give you enough time to play about with the style and it still be fresh. Plus! No little itchy hairs lingering. My team of staff are here for you big day.
