THE extreme beauty trade is constantly evolving. From facials made from nightingale droppings to snail mucus facials, the consumer interest continues to flourish.
Haseena Hamid, owner of Dark Secrets Hair and Beauty in Blackburn has opened new premises which boasts three beauty rooms, new treatments including a sunbed, HD brows and even a brand a new clinic.
Haseena said, “People are very image conscious today. It’s not just young people. Even older people want to look younger.
“Anti wrinkle injections are one of those purchases that people will make an effort to keep money aside for.”
Dr Nabilah, who has several years of experience in dermal filler, wrinkle reduction and laser fat reduction, will be offering her services.
“I ensure my team receive regular training so that we can deliver the optimum for our clients.”
Social media plays a pivotal role in Haseena’s business as she admits she spends a good proportion of her time on Instagram and Facebook.
“Social media is a great platform. I can share images of all the looks that we have created. It allows clients to see that we are bang on trend. I find that many people will book an appointment having seen a photo on either Instagram or Facebook.
“Only last week we had an 84-year-old customer who read one of our blogs about how to nourish your hair, and decided to visit us to see if we could treat her hair.
“It’s a wonderful accolade to be able to appeal to all ages.”
As well as reaching a broad age demographic, Haseena says Dark Secrets has a distinct male clientele too. “It’s not only women that want to look good. Our male clients will have both hair and beauty treatments.
“The ‘Man Brow’ is the most sought after treatment for men. Facials are also popular, as is waxing.
“Our aim is to make every client look and feel their absolute best.
“My business was established 10 years ago. During that time I have become renowned for transforming people’s images.
“Every satisfied client is yet another accomplishment.”
