A SPECIAL one-off panto performance will be held at the Thwaites Empire Theatre, Blackburn, on Thursday with all the proceeds going to the theatre’s roof appeal.
Around £150,000 is needed to put a new roof on the Capita Performing Arts Centre, which adjoins the theatre, and the theatre itself.
Pendle Productions, which is based at the Capita Performing Arts Centre, is putting on the one-off show to help with the fundraising.
Pendle Productions has been behind the hugely successful Christmas pantomimes at the theatre and many of the stars from previous shows are being reunited for Thursday’s unique performance.
Among those taking part will be former Hollyoaks star Darren Langford, Sally Naden from Radio Lancashire and former Pop Idol finalist Anthony Batey.
As a special treat, CJ de Mooi from BBC's Eggheads will be running a personally-devised live quiz during the evening.
Tickets for the show are £12 for adults and £8 for children.
