ELECTRO rock Brazilian super stars CSS are charged to take over Lancaster Library for what will be a legendary gig.
Lovefoxxx and her idiosyncratic band members are swapping their normal stadium venues for the intimate settings of Get it Louds' room at the centre of a working library.
Hitting the headlines since 2003 as a band leading the way for the new rave movement, their first single Let's Make Love and Listen to Death From Above, could be heard in every club for years to come.
Appearing on almost all their songs is an upbeat electronic sound accompanied by various instruments creating a vibrant experimental beat that demands dancing.
Their music is all about fun which is how Get it Louds' manager Stewart Parson managed to snap them up for this explosive concert.
“It was actually surprisingly easy,” Stewart told me.
“I know someone from CAA who manages them and I was saying I wanted a band that would be really fun to end the year with and she suggested CSS.
“All the blokes who work here really like Lovefoxx so they are all getting really excited about it."
The band now have three studio recorded albums under their belts and are currently touring the world with their fast tempo catchy songs that include hits such as Left Behind and Alcohol.
“I've been told the band are really excited about playing in the library,” added Stewart.
“I don't think they have played in North Lancashire before.
“I'm really chuffed they agreed to come here. The concert sold out in a flash. They have played some huge festivals and really big arena's so we're thrilled to have them coming here.”
Stewart said next year had so exciting treats for revellers heading to Get It Loud with metal band Subtract being secured for February 27.
CSS will be at the Library on December 9.
