LOCAL performer Nicola Avino will be singing at an intimate gig at Blackburn’s Costa Coffee on July 30.
The former Accrington Theatre Group member worked at the cafe before starting an MA Musical Theatre course at the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, in January.
And the store manager has asked her back to support the company’s charity the Costa Foundation which supports coffee growers around the world.
Nicola, from Blackburn, starred in ATG’s most recent productions Boogie Nights and Boogie Nights 2 as Debs, before her one-year intensive postgraduate course began.
* The gig takes place on July 30, 6.30pm at Costa Coffee, The Mall, Blackburn. Tickets are strictly limited, with just 30 available for the two 20-minute sets.
