WHAT a week it has been on the famous cobbles in Coronation Street, digging up the dead and seeing Becky lose the will to live.
But come on Corrie, did John Stape really have to get up and walk away from one of the most dramatic scenes that Corrie has seen, leaving nothing but a pool of blood?
Surely he would have left a trace while he struggled to escape with a massive injury.
We could have believed the storyline a bit more if the serial killer hadn’t turned into Wetherfield’s answer to Iron Man.
But hats off to East Lancashire’s Jenny McAlpine, who plays Fiz, owning up to a series of conniving antics and the disposal of Colin Fishwick’s body. Going from victim to suspect, following her murderous husband’s actions, she has played the role perfectly, leaving behind baby Hope as she prepares herself for an uncertain future.
There have been some cracking storylines on the Street and we can only expect more drama between Becky McDonald and her half-sister Kylie as tensions rise high without little Max on Becky’s side.
Watching Becky lose it entertains me every time!
And who can forget Corrie’s love triangle between Graeme, Tina and Xin? The dilemma can only get more tricky as the confused window cleaner decides who to go for in the end.
