TOURING Hayes and Cahill
TWO great folk musicians will combine for a very special show at Mellor Brook Community Centre on June 4.
The centre which punches well above its weight in terms of the quality of acts it books has now secured the services of leading Irish fiddle player Martin Hayes and American guitarist Dennis Cahill.
Hayes began playing aged seven and has won numerous awards including six All ireland Fiddle Championships and a BBC Radio 2 folk award.
The duo played for President Obama at the White House as part of his St Patrick’s Day celebrations this year and have toured Japan and Europe this year.
