Revered British rocker Steve Harley, who has been touring consistently for over 30 years, is coming to Burnley Mechanics on February 16.
Prolific songwriter and lyricist, Steve is famed for being a founding member and lead singer of band Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel who had hits with Mr Raffles, Here Comes the Sun and a number one million selling single with Make Me Smile.
His songs Sebastian, Tumbling Down and Make Me Smile were included in the Todd Haynes 1998 rock musical Velvet Goldmine Make Me Smile was also included in the 1997 film, The Full Monty.
In 1999, Harley began presenting a BBC Radio programme The Sounds of the Seventies.
The show is packed full of his big songs including Judy Teen, Mr. Soft, Here Comes The Sun, Mr. Raffles, Sebastian and the smash hit, Make Me Smile.
