JASON Derulo has announced Shontelle and Mindless Behavior will support him on his forthcoming UK tour, which comes to Manchester on February 28.

Success has come quickly for Derulo, whose self titled debut album contained no less than five hit singles, including Whatcha Say, which topped the US Billboard charts.

The album also provided him with his first UK number one single, In My Head.

“It’s definitely a music lover’s album. It reflects all my different influences but it’s deeply rooted in pop.

"My vision for the album was to make music that would impact on the world.

"And by that I mean that music is a healing thing. When you play your favourite song you can forget your troubles for three minutes. I want to promote those get away moments for people,” he says.

Shontelle, on the other hand, has two albums under her belt, Shontelligence and No Gravity, which saw her collaborate with Bruno Mars.

Mindless Behavior consists of four spirited 13 year old boys, Prodigy, Roc Royal, Ray Ray and Princeton and they’re already being talked about in the same breath as The Jackson 5, New Edition and N’Sync.
