A Best Of Blackburn variety show is being put on at the town’s Thwaites Empire Theatre tonight in aid of charities.
The event, which sees performances from singers as young as seven, bands, comedians, a boys’ hip-hop group and bellydancing, will raise money for the Catholic Overseas Development Agency and the Ewood theatre.
Various staff from Forbes Solicitors feature in the line-up.
Organiser and partner at the Blackburn firm John Myers has also organised performances from his children: daughter and Thwaites regular Miranda will sing and son Rory and his band The Peeks will make their public debut.
Thwaites fundraising director Michael Berry will compere the evening.
* Best Of Blackburn variety is at the Thwaites Empire Theatre tonight. 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 for adults; £8 for concessions available from 01254 685500 or on the door.
