Spike Theatre premiere their new show, The Games, at The Met in Bury on October 12 and 13.
Taking inspiration from the ancient Olympics, it is a hilarious tale of three athletes with aspirations of greatness, who are poised to compete in the largest sporting event in the ancient world, The Games.
They are drastically under-funded, completely under-prepared and out of their depth as they take on the heroes of ancient Greece.
The show features a collaboration with Toby Park of renowned comedy theatre company Spymonkey, who will co-direct and compose the piece.
Spike Theatre has been entertaining audiences for more than 10 years and has produced 11 original touring shows and five outdoor-staged productions, including the acclaimed improvised production, Hoof!
Recommended for audiences aged 12 and up.
* The Games is at The Met, Market Street, Bury, on Tuesday, October 12 and Wednesday, October 13. Tickets £10.
