THE Queen musical, We Will Rock You, will be heading back to Manchester for performances from December 3 to January 15.
The production will be on at the Palace Theatre before continuing around the UK.
The cast for Manchester features former Hearsay member Noel Sullivan, who has recently been wowing London’s West End audiences as Danny in Grease.
He will be playing the part of Galileo, the nervous boy who must become a Bohemian hero to help save the future of rock music.
Alongside Noel is Sheffield actor Ian Reddington, who is one of the only people to have two major roles in Eastenders and Coronation Street, as Richard Cole aka Tricky Dicky and Vernon Tomlin, respectively.
He will perform the role of Pop, a librarian who is stuck in his hippie past and is searching to find answers to the question of the end of rock music, while former Brookside star Leon Lopez heads up the Bohemians as their leader, Britney.
The production is directed by Ben Elton, with Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor as music supervisors and Arlene Phillips overseeing the musical staging and choreography.
* We Will Rock You is at the Palace Theatre, Manchester from December 3 to January 15. Tickets cost £17.50 to £42.50. For more information, or to book, visit palaceandoperahouse.org.uk or ring 0844 847 2275.
