‘THE Voice of Ireland’ Tommy Fleming is coming to the Ribble Valley on June 27.
In concert at Chipping Village Hall, organisers are touting the event as ‘a lovely show for a Sunday afternoon’.
His 18-year career started by chance when he was spotted by Phil Coulter at a charity function near his home. From there he was whisked to the USA as a guest singer on Coulter’s American tour.
He is famous for his renditions of Danny Boy, Isle of Innisfree and Hard Times, as well as covers of You Raise Me Up and Bridge Over Troubled Water.
* Tommy Fleming is at Chipping Village Hall on Sunday, June 27. Tickets cost £15 from 0199 561364.
