BLACKBURN punk legends The Stiffs are returning to play a rare home town gig.
The original line-up will reunite for the gig at 41 King Street, Blackburn, on Tuesday.
The band will be marking the 30th anniversary of the release of their first single Inside Out.
The special show will mark 30 years to the day since legendary Radio 1 DJ John Peel first played their powerpop-punk anthem on his Radio One show.
With Peel and fellow Radio 1 DJ Mike Read championing their cause, Inside Out became a top 10 hit in the indie charts, leading to The Stiffs being snapped up by EMI Records.
The band went on to enjoy cult success in the early '80s with records such as Volume Control, Goodbye My Love and The Young Guitars.
While the original group split in the late 1980s, The Stiffs have reunited for numerous appearances over recent years, including a tour of Japan and several major punk festivals.
Their new single, titled Extreemager, will be released on vinyl early in the near year.
Supporting will be Middle Finger Salute and Cassini Club.
