HOW ironic that Simon Cowell's new showpony of a show, Britain's Got Talent, should highlight the exact opposite.
But "Britain's Not Got Talent" doesn't sound as catchy I suppose.
The show is fresh from the US where it was a smash hit - like everything else the high-trousered one puts his name to.
And now the show is throwing its trawling nets out across the UK looking for unique and unusual acts to capture our imaginations.
Maybe Cowell got fed up of rejecting X Factor hopefuls who insisted on bringing their guitars in with them or performing mind-boggling dance routines. On this show it's not just about singing, you can juggle, do acrobatics, dance - the weirder the better.
The result is a hotch potch of oddballs all competing to win the big prize. And, of course, a brand new show means brand new judges.
Meet Amanda Holden, last seen prowling the wilds of Africa in Wild At Heart, whose qualifications as judge are a mystery to me.
There's Cowell himself, and former Mirror editor Piers Morgan who on the American show incurred the wrath of a nation after reducing an 11-year-old to tears.
Acts on the show are to include a musical pig, people who wrongly believe they can sing and various old people humiliating themselves.
Will it be a hit?
Of course it will, it is presented by Ant and Dec.
