BUBBLING electronica, blazing fiddles, whistle solos, the skirl of the bagpipes……The Peatbog Faeries motor into Burnley Mechanics tomorrow.
Infectious, leap-about fun, the Faeries produce a dancehall rave of Scottish song.
Based in the Isle of Skye, their approach to the different themes of world music could hardly be more different.
A contemporary instrumental dance band, their progression saw them nominated for best live acts at the 2013 Radio Two Folk Awards.
“We just love to be entertainers, and for people to have a good time, and we always enjoy playing to a Lancashire audience because they are so enthusiastic,” said bassist Innes Hutton.
