THE queen of Irish rockabilly Imelda May has announced a date at Manchester’s Albert Hall as part of a winter tour.
The singer, who headlined the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival in Colne in 2010 has recently released her latest album Tribal which went straight into the charts.
She will be touring the UK with her band which includes East Lancashire drummer Steve Rushton in November and December and plays the Albert Hall on Saturday, November 29.
The Albert Hall is a relatively new venue housed in a formed Weslyan Chapel on Peter Street.
