MUSICAL lovers ‘Cain’t say no’ to the chance to join Todmorden Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society’s production of Oklahoma next year.
The first get together for the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic musical, which will be staged at Todmorden Hippodrome in April, takes place on Tuesday, October 8, from 7.45pm at the theatre.
This will be followed up by a film night on Friday, October 11, 7.30pm, showing the 2004 West End revival.
A TAODS spokesman said: “We always try and vary our productions to cater for a wide range of tastes. Over the last few years we have performed shows as diverse as Sweeney Todd and Copacabana.
“Our doors are always open to anybody, first-timers or old-pros alike. We do not always audition for chorus places but we do expect a genuine commitment from our cast members.
”The get-together will be a very informal occasion, where you can find out about the show, meet people and have a drink at our bar.”
