A PUPPET Festival is taking place in Waterfoot this weekend with a garden full of free events to enjoy.
The family fun starts at 11am on Saturday at The Boo in Bacup Road with puppet shows for various age groups on until Sunday.
As well as ticketed shows, there are crafts anmd activities and free shows in the theatre’s garden, music and walkabout puppets.
Also new this year is a puppet parade, with festival-goers invited to make their own creation for the parade at 4pm on Sunday.
