On Tuesday 21st March St Mary's College held an event for high achieving Year 11 pupils and parents invited from St Augustine’s, St Bede’s, Our Lady & St John RC High Schools and Pleckgate High School.
Assistant Principal, Elissa Best, welcomed over 80 guests to participate in the event, all having applied to be a part of St Mary's College successful future.
The event focused on exam preparation, revision techniques and stress management with the aim being to enable students to increase their GCSE grades from A to A*.
Tim Milner, an experienced classroom teacher and Education Keynote Speaker, with over fifteen years in education and business, lead an exciting and interactive session for the students and parents that would effectively prepare them for their examinations and to cope successfully with the additional stress and pressure that the exam period brings.
Mr Milner added, “Thank you for having me at St Marys, a wonderful college offering so much more for their future students. Wonderful night. Always great to work with anyone who pushes to improve”.
