Bradley Foster, Charlotte Keigher and Rachel Fox are all progressing on to courses at prestigious universities that will lead to careers at the forefront of scientific development!
Bradley Foster, having travelled to India for two months teaching children who share his passion regarding environmental issues, has been inspired to work “to reverse the negative aspects of our world and seek positive change”.
Charlotte Keigher, being awarded the Young Physicist of the Year from the Ogden Trust, has been inspired “to delve deeper into the physics of both the wider universe and everyday life”.
Rachel Fox, having completed extensive medical work placements, has been inspired “to investigate how an early diagnosis can help the person affected adapt to the change in their lives”.
The three share a passion to progress to the top of their scientific field and their success at A Level proves their outstanding academic excellence and potential to reach their goals.
Bradley, 18, from Accrington, gained a perfect score achieving an A* in Biology, A* in Geography and A* in Geology and has been offered a place at the University of York to study Environmental Geography.
“With the wealth of experience amongst the St Mary’s staff, they are always willing to provide excellent advice and engaging lessons”.
Charlotte, 18, from Blackburn, attained an A* in Physics, A* in Mathematics alongside a grade A in Further Mathematics and will be following in the footsteps of former students of St Mary’s College to study Physics at New College, Oxford.

Rachel, 19, from Clitheroe, achieved a grade A for Biology, Chemistry and Psychology will be studying Medicine at Exeter University Medical School.
