St Mary’s hosted its annual Prize Night and Music for Christmas event at King George’s Hall on Tuesday 15th December.
The evening was attended by prize winners and their families, local dignitaries, Reverend Fathers, staff, Headteachers of our partner schools along with their head boys and head girls. We were, especially, pleased to welcome our guest speaker, former student, Autumn Charnley, now studying Mathematics at Durham University who spoke passionately about her time at St Mary’s.
Chairman of the Governors Nick McNeil delivered the Governors report followed by Mr Francis Dixon, Principal with his annual report. The evening was accompanied by Christmas music and carols from our band and finished off with seasonal refreshments served in Blakeys.
Thanks to our Sponsor of the event, Darwen Electrical Services, TSPro Ltd. and to our supporters of the evening P3 Computers, D&AW Creative Communications, Shear Brow Newsagents and Lomas Office Furniture.
