St Mary’s College is thrilled to have awarded 45 Excellence Scholarships to high achieving students this year – the highest total ever since the Scholarship began four years ago.
The Excellence Scholarships, of up to £1,000 per student, have been awarded to exceptional students on the basis of their GCSE achievements. In the past this award has helped fund educational visits including the Physics trip to Cern in Geneva and the Cambridge Law Conference.
The Principal, Frank Dixon said, “I am so very pleased that the College has been able to support the students with the Excellence Scholarship Initiative. In the current economic climate, I am sure that the scholarship will be an award that is valued by both students and parents”.
