The Queen’s first engagement of the Diamond Jubilee weekend will be her attendance of The Derby at Epsom tomorrow. This will be broadcast on BBC1 from 12.50pm.
On Sunday one of the largest flotillas ever assembled will be present on the Thames, with up to 1,000 boats taking part.
The pageant will be broadcast on BBC1 from 1.30pm.
The BBC and Take That’s Gary Barlow will then be bringing together some of the biggest names from the worlds of music, dance and musical theatre on Monday. The concert will be broadcast live on BBC1 from 7.30pm and Radio 2.
On Tuesday there is a national service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral from 8.30am on ITV1 and from 9.15am on BBC1.
This will be followed by a reception at the Mansion House for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and a Diamond Jubliee lunch at Westminster Hall.
The route from Westminster to Buckingham Palace will be lined with thousands of well-wishers as the Queen and other senior members of the Royal Family travel in a formal carriage procession. It will agaisn be broadcast live on BBC1.
After a 60-gun salute at Buckingham Palace, the Royal Family will appear on the balcony and watch an RAF flypast and a Feu de Joie - a cascade of rife fire by The Queen's Guard.
