HUNDREDS of visitors looked back at old photographs and memorabilia of life in old Padiham.
Padiham Archive Group held its sixth annual exhibition showing the events, places, and people of the town over the decades.
Former residents who had moved away to such places as York and Blackpool came home to recollect days gone by.
And they swelled the archives even more by bringing more photographs from the past to be catalogued.
There were hundreds of photos on show, including those taken from 60 old glass negatives, which belonged to Padiham photographer Edgar Bradshaw, and others of the local St John Ambulance.
*This picture of blacksmith Ron Carter, who plied his trade at Trapp Forge, in Simonstone, was part of a section put together by Padiham and District UCA members Margaret Jones, Mary Haines and Rod Wilshaw.
