SCHOOLDAYS are always remembered with fondness — they were carefree, full of fun and sun.
Friendships were forged that are perhaps still strong today, or have maybe been broken.
School reunions can take us back to those good old days and the pals we made in the playground.
Tomorrow, past pupils of St Joseph’s RC School, Darwen, will be getting together to reminisce about their younger days. Everyone is invited — and it takes place at the Borough Hotel in town, from 7.30pm.
It’s been organised by Gerard Puzon and he’s available on 01254 774120 if you need more details about the event.
Gerard has sent us this school photo of St Joseph’s dated circa 1955.
Do you recognise any of the pupils, seen squinting into the sun as they pose for their special class photograph in the playground?
