BURNLEY Borough Police Force was one of several forces around the county to receive a new fleet of patrol cars in 1968.
Officers are pictured at Burnley police HQ with their six Morris Minor ‘ panda cars’ complete with blue and white livery and consecutive number plates.
Lancashire had been awarded extra funding to get more patrols on to the road.
