LOOKING Back has still not reached the end of its journey in the tale of Syd Smith and his Station Garage taxi business.
This week we have a photograph from Irene Whalley, of Blackburn, which shows a group of drivers and a man in a bowler, who could be Syd Smith himself, posing outside the business on the Boulevard.
Irene's father William Morgan, who drove for the company, is third from the right and she thinks it was taken in the early 1930s as he died at Christmas 1934 when she was just two.
