This is the team which won the Cob Wall Cup in Blackburn that year, a competition that is no more, but who were they?
We know most of the players, but can you fill in the blanks and name the team?
Though we are missing three names on the back row, four we do know are Bill White, T Donnelly, Malcolm Burton and Paul Briggs. Manager Colin Brennan is on the right.
On the front row, the players from the left are: Jeff Burton, Frank McHugh, Geoff MacDougall, Peter O’Brien, Andy Scott and Billy Sharples.
