FLOODS have been a major topic in the news as storms queue up to batter the country.
These pictures, sent in by Lancashire Telegraph columnist Margo Grimshaw, show the occasion when the River Ribble burst its banks and flooded Ribchester.
Margo had the de Tabley pub, which used to stand on the side of the river, and she got her camera out to capture the river overflowing its banks.
It would be around 1980.
Do any readers have any other flooding pictures from down the years?
