BILLIARDS was a popular game in Padiham and across other East Lancashire towns in the four decades from the 1920s to the sixties.
This team from the Constitution Club won the Padiham and District Amateur Billiard League in the mid thirties.
They’ve put on their best bib and tucker for the photograph, as they’re all wearing their best three piece suits, with collars, ties and polished shoes.
