BARROWFORD co-driver Daniel Barritt will return to the World Rally Championship next year – with Elfyn Evans set to be the first British driver to compete in the series since Colin McRae.
Evans and Barritt teamed up in the WRC2 championship this year and had been attempted to secure funding to make the step up to the full World Rally Championship.
It has now been confirmed that they will compete for the M-Sport team in 2014, with Welshman Evans the first British driver in the series since the legendary McRae.
Barritt has previously competed in the World Rally Championship as co-driver for Zimbabwe’s Conrad Rautenbach.
