ANDRANIK Teymourian is expected to be handed another chance to impress this week before Blackburn Rovers decide on his Ewood Park future.
The Iranian midfielder has spent the last week on trial in East Lancashire, featuring in Saturday’s 3-0 win at Southport, and should be involved at either Preston tonight or Huddersfield tomorrow.
With Sheffield United also believed to be interested in the former Bolton and Fulham free agent, the next few days will prove pivotal for Teymourian according to coach Steve Kean.
Kean said: “He has trained very well and I think he had a little bit of a tough time when he was at Fulham and never played too many games.
“But he certainly had a good impact on the sessions and Saturday in the game.
“But he needs match practice to get back into the swing of things.”
