HIGHLY rated young goalkeeper David Raya will make his debut for Blackburn Rovers in today's Championship clash at Roses rivals Leeds United.

The 19-year-old takes the place of number one Jason Steele and is one of three changes made by Gary Bowyer to the side that started the 1-0 home loss to Brighton & Hove Albion before the international break.

Simon Eastwood, who has kept goal for Rovers throughout their run to the quarter-finals, has picked up a knock in training.

And Raya, having starred for then loan club Southport in their 1-0 third-round defeat at Derby County, would be cup-tied for Wednesday’s last-eight replay with Liverpool at Ewood Park.

Rovers boss Bowyer has also recalled Lee Williamson and Rudy Gestede with Chris Taylor, who has a groin problem, and Chris Brown the men to make way.

Bowyer remains without Craig Conway, Grant Hanley, Josh King, David Dunn, Jason Lowe and Shane Duffy.

Leeds, who are unbeaten in five but have not won any of their last six against Rovers, make two changes from the team that started their 1-1 draw at Blackpool two weeks ago.

Rudy Austin and Steve Morison have replaced Lewis Cook, who picked up an injury playing for England U19s, and Billy Sharp.

New loan signing Paul Taylor is on the bench for Rovers alongside John O’Sullivan, who has returned from an impressive loan spell at Barnsley.
