BURNLEY boss Brian Laws has swooped to sign winger Ross Wallace from Lancashire rivals Preston North End on a three-year deal.
The Scotland international joined the Clarets on an undisclosed fee after Laws ended his interest in Hearts flyer Andrew Driver earlier in the week.
Wallace becomes Burnley’s third summer signing - following the earlier arrivals of midfielder Dean Marney and striker Chris Iwelumo - as Laws plots the club’s route back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
“We are delighted to have secured the signing of Ross,” said the Clarets manager.
