Liam Feeney has signed for League One side Blackpool after his release from Rovers.
Feeney, who spent time training with Rotherham United this summer, has agreed an initial two-year deal with the option for a further 12 months.
The 32-year-old played 42 times for Rovers during his two years with the club having been signed by Owen Coyle, who has been linked with the managerial vacancy at Bloomfield Road, in the summer of 2016.
Feeney finished last season on loan with Cardiff City, playing 16 times for the Bluebirds as they reached the Premier League having been allowed to leave on loan by Tony Mowbray.
The winger has made almost 400 appearances across his career, which also included a loan spell at Rovers in 2014.
He could make his debut against Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Elliott Ward, also released by Rovers this summer, remains without a club having not been offered a deal by Charlton Athletic who he has been training with.
