Adam Armstrong is back at Ewood Park - but this time for good after signing a four-year permanent deal with Rovers.
Armstrong spent the final four months of last season with Rovers and helped fire them to promotion with nine goals in 17 starts.
He has been keen on a return to East Lancashire throughout the summer, with Rovers having taken advantage of his availability to secure his services.
The fee is undisclosed, but is reported to be an initial £1.75m and includes add-ons which could take it close to £3m.
Armstrong will reunite himself once again with Tony Mowbray having also worked with the boss in 2015/16 when he scored 20 times for Coventry City in League One.
He has also spent time in the Championship on loan with Barnsley in 2016/17 and Bolton in the first half of last season.
Armstrong will wear the number seven shirt at Rovers.
