JASON Lowe is moving closer to full fitness to the delight of Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Lambert.
The midfielder is now back out on the Brockhall training pitches, and getting stronger with every session, after spending six months on the sidelines with a long-standing foot injury.

Lambert said: “He’s done very well, I’ve got to admit. He looks comfortable.
“I’ve not seen him on a big pitch in a game but what I’ve seen of Jason in training has been very pleasing.
“He’s been out a long time and, while there’s not too long to go in the season, the way he’s training, we do hope we get him out there somewhere along the line.”
Lambert has confirmed that when Lowe is ready to return to action he will have to play for Rovers’ development squad.
“It’s nearly a whole season he’s been out, from August right the way through, so while he might get through one game on adrenaline, it would soon catch him,” said Lambert.
“But he’s been decent Jason and I’m looking forward to seeing him.”
