BACUP Borough Football Club is hoping to attract some younger supporters to cheer on the players by offering them free entry to home matches.
From now until the end of the season, two children under 12 will be allowed to watch every home game free, provided they are with a paying adult.
Michael Carr, promotions manager for the club, said: "We have a backlog of home games to play due to bad weather, and we decided to open them up to our younger supporters to cheer on the boys."
The club is distributing flyers to local primary schools to drum up support.
Mr Carr added: "We don't have as many young fans as we would like, and we're playing a fantastic level of football at the moment.
"With people's support we could push our club up to promotion.
"Tickets cost £5 per adult, so with this offer I don't think you could get a cheaper family day out.
"You are guaranteed a warm welcome at the Brian Boys West View Stadium, with food and drink available. We'd really love to see local people get behind the team."
Unaccompanied children and OAP tickets cost £3. Kick-off times are 3pm for Saturday games, and 7.45pm for evening games.
Today's match is against Congleton.
