BLACKBURN Rovers have announced their retained list.
Jack O’Connell, John O’Sullivan, Kellen Daly and Darragh Lenihan have been offered new contracts along with scholars Bradley Bauress and Devarn Green.
But New Zealand international Tim Payne and former youth team captain Ryan Edwards are two of 16 players not to be offered fresh terms.
Also released are Hugo Fernandez Molina, Will Beesley, Robbie Cotton, Deniz Pero, Aaron Tumwa and Matthew Urwin along with scholars Jordan Anderson, Thomas Brown, William Butterwick, Callum Harris, Thomas Paul, Yeray Torres Martinez, Ian Vicars and Brice Wassi.
Fans’ favourite David Dunn and left back Markus Olsson are the sole first-team players out of contract.
Their futures are currently being discussed in India, where Gary Bowyer is meeting Rovers’ owners Venky’s.
But as Dunn and Olsson are over the age of 24, they are entitled to talk to or sign for any club of their choice.
A Rovers spokesperson said: “The club would like to thank those players departing for their efforts and wish them well in the future.”
