BLACKBURN Rovers have named an unchanged team for today’s Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has kept faith with the starting XI that started Tuesday’s home win over QPR.
The rousing 2-0 triumph stretched Bowyer’s in-form side’s unbeaten run to seven matches and moved them within four points of the play-offs.
But there is no place on the bench for David Dunn, who has picked up what the club describe as a knock, or Dickson Etuhu, who suffered a hamstring injury after coming on as an 85th-minute substitute against QPR.
The Owls make three changes as fit-again duo Sam Hutchinson and Oguchi Onyewu come in for Giles Coke and Jeremy Helan while Atdhe Nuhiu takes the place of the ineligible Leon Best, whose loan from Rovers states he cannot play against his parent club.
Wednesday: Kirkland, Buxton, Onyewu, Hutchinson, Llera, Antonio, Palmer, Lee, Mattock, Maguire, Nuhiu. Subs: Martinez, Johnson, Coke, Taylor, Helan, Lavery, Afobe.
Rovers: Robinson, Keane, Hanley, Kilgallon, Spurr, Cairney, Lowe, Williamson, Conway, Gestede, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Kane, King, Olsson, Varney, Taylor, Feeney.
