Young Blackburn Rovers striker Anton Forrester has been ruled out for between six and nine months after damaging cruciate ligaments while on loan at Bury.
The 20-year-old striker suffered the injury on Tuesday and Bury boss David Flitcroft said: “He has done his ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and his MCL (medial cruciate ligament).”
