TORRES is probably the best known wine name in the Spanish speaking world and they are certainly the largest family-owners of vineyards in Spain.
Not surprisingly today the name of Miguel Torres is also producing quality reds and white on the American continent in both California and Chile.
This Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile's Central Valley has blackberries, spice and a touch of liquorice. Screw-topped and great value.
SAN MEDIN CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2005, £5.95, Morrisons.
