GALICIA in Spain's Atlantic North West is nicknamed 'Green Spain' for the very good reason that it averages more rainfall than Manchester.
But the high summer temperatures keep the grapes growing and this white is from the wine region known as Rias Baixas.
Albarino is a local grape and it is a bit like Viognier with the same sort of peachy taste.
A lovely light wine with a zesty touch.
PAZO SERANTELLOS ALBARINO, £5.69, Tesco
