NOT another one, not another 'expert' telling us how to make a fortune by doing up a property.
Just in case you are still completely clueless about the golden rules of renovation, How To Be A Property Developer on Five last night set out to show you how it's done.
Although I'm fed up with all these shows, judging by the numpties they featured last night, it is clear that there are still people out there who need someone to tell them to get a survey done before they buy a property, always allow more time than they think it will take to get the job done and never believe that you will come in under budget.
Our guide for this particular series is the brash Gary McCausland - known as Big G, a nickname which would make me steer clear of him at all costs.
Big G's style is to behave like a personal trainer and intimidate his 'volunteers'.
Incidentally, I heard an interesting debate on radio this week in which the rising property prices were partly being blamed on the rise of so-called 'soft porn property programmes' which seem to promise everyone who picks up a trowel a way to instant millions.
A bit over the top but I think there's a valid point to be made. Personally, give me the delightful Sarah Beeny any time.
