Caravan fire sparks probe
A CARAVAN parked in front of a house was destroyed in an early morning blaze.
Firefighters were called to Euxton Lane, Chorley, at around 2.30am yesterday as the fire spread to the front of the house ((TUES)).
A passer-by alerted the homeowner occupier, who escaped without harm, a fire service spokesman said.
The caravan was destroyed in the blaze, which also spread to the front of the house.
A fire service spokesman said: “At this point, we suspect the fire was started due to an electrical fault but we are investigating.” the spokesman said.”
The two fire crews were on the scene until around 5am.
