THE Rishton-based A Cappella Singers will perform at St Mary’s Church in Burnley on Sunday, November 16.
The singers will dedicate their opening piece, Faure’s Requiem, to the armed forces personnel who have died fighting for their country.
A spokesman said: “This is a free concert for anyone to attend but donations will be welcome at the end of the concert, with the proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.”
Members of the church, in Todmorden Road, have been working to install a war memorial marking the two world wars and other conflicts.
They have sourced more than 200 names of fallen soldiers in the Burnley area.
The spokesman added: “The members are asking those in the Burnley and District area to give them details of any servicemen and women who died in order that their names can be included and inscribed on the memorial.”
The concert will start at 2pm. For more information, call Barbara McNamara on 01282 424967, or visit www.acappellasingers.co.uk
