PEOPLE in Rishton will meet to discuss council plans for a recreational ground at Holt Street.
The park was shortlisted as land that could be surrendered following an asset review by councillors.
Coun Ken Moss said it was ‘highly unlikely’ that Hyndburn Council would surrender its lease because it would ‘deprive the community’.
