COUN Clare Cleary is to question Lancashire’s police crime commissioner Clive Grunshaw about crime in the Spring Street area of Rishton.
Coun Cleary has worked with the police and residents on Danvers Street to combat juvenile anti-social behaviour and damage to property.
She plans to raise the subject with the Crime Commissioner, who is scheduled to attend next Thursday’s council meeting at Accrington Town Hall.
Coun Cleary will also talk about the introduction of alley gates as a method of tackling crime.
The meeting will start at 7pm and is open to the public.
