SCORES of floral tributes have been left on the steps of Burnley police station as a mark of respect for a father who died after being taken into police custody.
Nadeem Khan, known as Dean, was arrested after police received reports of a man in Burnley Road, Brierfield, attacking cars and homes - and leaving a trail of blood on Saturday, June 30.
Mr Khan, of St. Aidan's Avenue, Mill Hill, Blackburn was taken ill at Burnley police station and died later in Burnley General Hospital.
The family of the 28-year-old are raising the £3,000 needed for a second post-mortem examination after the first was inconclusive.
This follows a march in Burnley over the weekend, to demand answers over the death of the father-of-two.
